A: It is very important to place your orders online when you need product. Please do not wait for our trucks to show up or a call from us. We deliver on an eight week rotation year round; however, we also deliver our orders to geographical areas as the truck fills up. The more orders for an area, the quicker the delivery. We attempt to contact all customers every eight weeks depending on the time of year to see how inventory is looking. We also send emails and/or courtesy calls when we know a truck is going to be nearby with order deadline dating. You may add to your order or place a second order at any time.
A: Smith Garden Center, Inc. is located at 1110 E. Calhoun Street, Macomb, IL 61455. We distribute to wholesale customers all over the Midwest, North up to Canada, and South to Tennessee. If you are outside of our current distribution area, give us a call today and we will look at the logistics of shipping product to your location.
A: Customers within our current distribution area will receive all orders FREE of delivery/freight charges. Our prices are delivered prices, no hassle in calculating retail prices. Customers outside of our distribution area will have a freight quote applied to their order for cost only. We do not markup shipping when charges are necessary.
A: Use the My Account link to set up an account and log in to see pricing. Add items to your cart and fill in the required information upon checkout. Your order will be sent to us for processing.
A: For all new accounts, we have a minimum order of $250. For customer re-orders we have a suggested minimum order amount of $150. Please consider we are delivering the order on our own fleet of trucks without adding additional expense.
A: This website will not collect any form of payment. We want to deliver the order to you, make sure you are happy with all product received and settle afterwards. All first-time customers will be asked to pay for product when delivered by check or cash. Returning customers can pay by means of cash or check upon delivery, Net 30 terms, or credit card. Company checks upon delivery is the preferred method of payment.
A: Upon checkout there is a message box for you to include any special information relating to product needs, dating, color, hours, destination, etc. Please be specific and write us a short note so we can focus on the most important aspects of your order.
